The Minister for Parliamentary Business and Chief Whip is a junior ministerial post in the Scottish Government whose job it is to steer government business through the Scottish Parliament. It is currently held by Brian Adam MSP of the Scottish National Party. The post was created after the 2011 Scottish Parliament election along with the elevated post of Cabinet Secretary for Parliamentary Business and Government Strategy. The Cabinet Secretary post is currently held by Bruce Crawford MSP of the Scottish National Party.
